Before joining FurnitureSpeak®, Homa spent 20 years at Corporate Express Business Interiors, where she served as Director of Administration. She was responsible for internal operations across contract and catalog furniture programs, product marketing, and accounting. Under her leadership, the company implemented rigorous quality control standards, elevating service delivery on both local and national levels.

Doug founded FurnitureSpeak® in 2009 to offer companies deeper support as they navigated complex workplace and facility challenges. As one of the most experienced furniture dealers in the Mid-Atlantic, Doug’s expertise continues to guide the team in delivering thoughtful, high-impact workplace environments.

Prior to launching FurnitureSpeak®, Doug spent 30 years at Corporate Express Business Interiors, holding roles including Senior Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Federal Government Sales, and Government Contracts Manager. He was instrumental in restructuring a $50 million contract furniture division, building a customer-first culture that earned national recognition.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Kirk is a partner at FurnitureSpeak®, bringing decades of strategic and technical design experience to every project. He oversees design and specification processes for large-scale and national accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client goals.

Previously, Kirk was Owner and Principal of Bellman & Company, where he provided space planning and furniture specification for leading dealerships and government agencies. His expertise in healthcare and government workplace environments made Bellman & Company a trusted third-party design resource.

Kirk’s deep knowledge of workplace planning and his strong client relationships play a key role in delivering future-focused, high-performance spaces.

KenWright

Ken has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial, government, and healthcare furniture sectors. His ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly ensures a smooth and successful project journey from beginning to end.

Known for his problem-solving skills and strong communication, Ken focuses on aligning workplace strategies with each client’s business challenges and long-term vision. His goal isn’t just to deliver on-time and on-budget—it’s to create spaces that evolve with the client’s growth.

Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University and brings a wealth of experience in design, project management, marketing, and healthcare sales.

Katy provides technical design and project management for both commercial and government clients. From initial program development to final installation, she delivers creative, efficient workplace solutions tailored to each client’s goals.

Before joining FurnitureSpeak®, Katy built her expertise with Corporate Express Business Interiors and PBI, Inc. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interior Design from Anne Arundel Community College.

Becky plays a crucial role in project support, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and exceptional customer service. Her analytical approach and attention to detail help verify orders and align project specifications with client expectations.

She previously worked at Business Interiors by Staples as a GSA Administrative Specialist and at Corporate Express Business Interiors as a GSA Contract Specialist and Government Sales Assistant.
